Parents should encourage their kids to do a variety of activities.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"\u039c\u03b5\u03c4\u03ac\u03c6\u03c1\u03b1\u03c3\u03b7\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Useful Tips:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exercise for kids should be fun. Instead of &#8220;working out,&#8221; think of it as &#8220;exercise play.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Provide emotional support to your kids. It is especially important during challenging or stressful times. You\u00a0are the number one source of emotional support for your children in sport. They\u00a0need someone to turn to. Emotional support must be unconditional and not dependent on how well you think your child may be playing or competing.<\/li>\n<li>Take the time to get to know and understand your child\u2019s interests. Observe your child at play, ask open-ended questions and listen when your child shares her dreams.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid judging your children\u2019s choices.
