{"id":15827,"date":"2021-01-24T17:11:50","date_gmt":"2021-01-24T15:11:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.athenstrainers.gr\/?p=15827"},"modified":"2021-01-24T17:11:50","modified_gmt":"2021-01-24T15:11:50","slug":"yin-yoga-dragon-pose","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.athenstrainers.gr\/en\/blog\/yin-yoga-dragon-pose\/","title":{"rendered":"Yin Yoga: dragon pose"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga as exercise, with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>For beginners, asanas may be held from 45 seconds to two minutes; more advanced practitioners may stay in one asana for five minutes or more.<\/p>\n<p>Yin Yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body\u2014the tendons, fasciae, and ligaments\u2014with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.<\/p>\n<p><em>Yin Yoga is not restorative yoga. Step one foot between the hands. Walk the front foot forward until the knee is right above the heel. Slide the back knee backward as far as you can.
