They\u2019re also said to improve your digestion and blood sugar levels, and possibly even fend off heart disease.<\/p>\n<p>Despite being low in calories, sprouts are a rich source of nutrients and beneficial plant compounds. Their vitamin and mineral content varies based on the variety.<\/p>\n<p>Sprouts tend to contain higher amounts of insoluble fiber, which can ease digestion and reduce the likelihood of constipation.
