Reverse Bridge on Cadillac with Long Box & T-BOW®

A great variation for individuals who are unable to support themselves on their elbows or palms.

Using the long box in combination with the T-BOW® platform, this modification allows for safe and effective execution without loading the upper limbs.

From this position, you can incorporate:

▪️Half roll-up

▪️Hundreds

▪️Hip extension (hands placed behind the head, palm over palm, providing support while maintaining proper alignment and control) and combined with single leg raise

This setup enhances stability, promotes better spinal positioning, and allows controlled activation of the core and hip extensors.

At the same time, the setup with arms overhead and the spine on the platform offers a beautiful stretch through the upper body while creating a sense of traction and lengthening through the lower body, enhancing both mobility and overall body awareness.

What makes this setup even more valuable is one of the unique and differential characteristics of the T-BOW®:

▪️When lying backward on the T-BOW®, its high proprioceptive sensitivity prevents the spine from sinking. This allows partially restricted vertebral segments to receive gentle mobilizing pressure, promoting the restoration of the natural lumbar lordosis.

▪️In addition, the thoracic spine is guided into extension, moving from kyphosis toward lordosis, always within the safe anatomical arc of 40–45 degrees provided by the T-BOW®.

▪️Given that normal thoracic kyphosis in healthy adults ranges between 20–40 degrees, this controlled extension offers a highly effective and safe way to mobilize the thoracic spine, without exceeding physiological limits.

Postural Optimization:

▪️Change the position of the hip on the T-BOW® – low at the base / on the top / middle at the front and back.

▪️Vary the support of the feet: balancing as in the Cadillac / stable.

▪️Alternate the heights of the feet-support and hip-support.

▪️Jump into holistic postural optimization and apply postural training and coordinative optimization resources from Physical Education, Yoga, Gymnastics, Dance and Sports Training.
