Express yourself with an asana: Downdog pose

A game for moms & kids! Are you looking for ways to spend time with your child without losing your training?

Perfect! You can combine them both and have fun.

You can play together child an easy and enjoyable pantomime game with yoga poses. Fotini Alexopoulou Personal trainer and  Athens Trainers® associate along with our little friend  Niki, will show easy but effective exercises to train and play. The girl tells her mom what profession she wants to follow when she grows up and her mother shows the corresponding pose in yoga.

Child: I want a dog…when I grow up I want to be a vet in order to be arround animals.

Mom: I’ll show you how dogs get stretched. It is the most refreshing pose.

Place your hands and feet  on the floor.  Shift your pelvis up toward the ceiling, lifting your knees and hips backward.

Keep your head  between your arms.

Now you are in DOWNDOG-ADHO MUKHA SVANASANA POSE.
