Energy Boost Balls

If you need energy immediately  then you just have to make those easy and no-bake “energy balls”!
You will need:
• 150g. ground oats
• 70g. mixed nuts of your choice (ground) along with cranberries or raisins  if you want a sweeter taste
• 30g. protein, preferably vanilla
• 4 teaspoons of CRIOLLO cocoa (diluted with a little warm water)
• 200gr. hazelnut spread or peanut butter or almond butter
• 60g. honey

Preparation

-In a bowl, mix the oats, nuts and protein
-In a large bowl, mix all the liquid ingredients (the hazelnut paste, the cocoa mixture and the honey)
– Slowly combine all ingredients and mix with your hands, wearing gloves of course, until a smooth dough is formed
– Shape into balls and decorate with chocolate or coconut chips

EXTRA TIPS:

-You can add flaxseed, chia, goji berry, lemon or orange zest, a little orange juice and Ceylon cinnamon to the mixture
A nice idea is to add half a date or plum (or any sugar-free dried fruit you like, as long as it hasn’t been added to the dough before) or a whole hazelnut inside the ball
