How to Boost Your Immune System

In the current climate, health is on everyone’s minds and we are all thinking whether there is a way to boost our immune systems.

Avoid or reduce:

• Sugar
• Refined carbohydrates
• Fast food
• Caffeine
• Alcohol
• Smoking
• Stress
• Fatty and processed meats
• Identify and avoid allergens

Increase:

  • Whole grain cereals
  • Vegetables
  • Fruit
  • Nuts and seeds
  • Antioxidants
  • Water

Lifestyle:

  • Ensure enough hours of sleep and rest
  • Wash your hands thoroughly
  • Ensure adequate protein intake in your diet
  • Exercise
  • Maintain a proper body weight

Increase your intake (foods containing supplements *):

  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin E
  • Zinc • Vitamin A
  • Vitamin D
  • Selenium
