What about compression socks?

Manufacturers claim that compression socks and tights increase oxygen delivery, assist in blood circulation, decrease lactic acid, prevent cramps, and minimize muscle soreness/fatigue.

A pair of those socks is now in every athlete ‘s wardrobe. But, researchers don’t have a clear answer for. A lot of research supports that there is a link between decreased post-exercise soreness and the use of compression items.

 

The socks are elastic, apply pressure to the lower leg, ankle and foot and they are designed to stimulate blood flow . The manufacturers use breathable materials including nylon, polyester, wool, CoolMax, Lycra, and Spandex, that help keep  athlete’s feet dry and …comfortable.

Other products like Copper Skin:Z supports have embedded copper fibers which help to stimulate circulation and help relieve pain and discomfort.

Other manufacturers use measurements of the body to find the right fit.

The decision is yours….the certain is that compression items (shorts, t-shirts, socks, sleeves, pants, tights) help the body recover faster from a hard run. But also let ‘s do not forget the psychological benefit by wearing them and feeling that we are enhance our performance …
